ABOUT
Bhava Raga Tala which embodies the supreme art of Odissi classical dance fascinated Satya Prakash Sahoo at a young age in his Village near Bhadrak, Orissa. He had his initial training under Guru Smt. Lalita Dad and Guru Puspita Mohanty Later as he dwells into this art, he realized Dance is the universal medium for creative expression. This inquisitives led him to learn under renowned Guru Shrimati Sonali Mohapatra. He is a “B” Grade artist of Doordarshan classical dance category & he has completed Sangeet Bhaskar from Prachenn Kala Kendra, Chandigarh.
Apart from being an active participant dancer in his Guru’s institution (Nrutya Upasana Pitha) Bhubaneswar, he imparts the knowledge of Odissi dance to the younger generation in his Guru’s dance school.
